Setting up a KVM switch doesn’t require much effort. Anyone with little knowledge about KVMs will be able to set all the connections. Simply turn off all the devices that will be connected to the

KVM switch. If your unit comes with an external power source, then connect it. After that connect your monitor and input peripherals to the unit.

Then use the KVM cables to connect the PCs to the switch, and turn on all the devices.  The switch button will allow you to alternate between the connected PCs.
